MealSnap helps users generate meal ideas by analyzing photos of fridge and pantry items.
When you use MealSnap, we may collect photos you choose to upload, ingredient detection results, meal generation inputs and outputs, app usage analytics, and crash diagnostics.
We use information to provide the app’s core functionality, improve ingredient detection and meal suggestions, monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
Photos selected or captured in the app are sent securely to our backend and AI providers for ingredient detection and meal generation.
MealSnap may use analytics and crash reporting tools to understand app usage and identify bugs.
We may share limited data with service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and AI processing providers. We do not sell your personal data.
We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and secure the service.
You can stop using the app at any time and can choose not to provide photos, though some features will not work without them.
